Environmental issues
Here is a video about global warming and the polar vortex. Think about creating something like this public document that introduces your topic and discusses different ideas of environmental issues.
In the past, around the 19th century, "whale oil" was one of the main reasons whales were hunted down near extinction. Today whale oil has very little use, but in some countries whaling is still being practiced for its meat consumption.
Not only are animals directly affected by hunting, but by diminishing the population of several species along the food chain, the delicate ecosystem is altered and many animals are indirectly exterminated.
With what magnitude does drilling on domestics soil impact domestic gas prices? Are there better methods of affecting domestic gas and energy prices than domestic drilling, and if so what are they?
Would environment be a part of animal testing?
